The project rethinks the traditional social housing architectural model using locally sourced renewable materials, like wood and coir ropes, and developing two primary units types: the first is the residential unit for workers, the second is a multifunctional unit that hosts public functions and works as a device to reduce damages created in case of floods. The overall development provides facilities such as health services, childcare, shops, playground, community centres, education facilities and public green areas.
